Stoke the Folk goes north – our last regional show

Stoke the Folk is having it’s last regional show!  We’re going up North!   There is a very strong roots community in the Yukon, so we’ve included a bunch of those folks in the mix.

.

And I had the pleasure of Matt visiting our place on Good Friday.  I’ve always wanted Matt to see our mandolins and charango, and he loved playing my mandolin (see pic to the left).   And Matt also got a beautiful new guitar, which he is proudly showing off in the pic to the right.

Tune in Monday April 9 at nine pm Eastern!   ckdj.net or locally on 107.9 FM in Ottawa

About L-A Copple: Ottawa Folk Radio

I'm a Radio host, artist, traveller etc. I'm currently in the 2nd year of radio broadcasting at Algonquin College. I've been a community radio how on CKCU 93.1 FM Ottawa since 2001. I joined CKDJ in 2010 when I entered the radio broadcasting programme and added AIR Algonquin to my roster in 2011. I currently am the Creative Director and Traffic Manager at both these stations, and am still a host on CKCU as well. So you'll hear my alto voice on three stations at this time!

  1. Appreciating the commitment you put into your website and in depth information you offer. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same outdated rehashed material. Fantastic read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

Hi there! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when browsing from my iphone4. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Thanks!
