Classical Gonq’s premiere on CKDJ 107-9 FM is finally approaching! The first show will air February 28 at 6 pm Eastern. You can listen in on ckdj.net
I’ve had this day in my mind since June 2011 when I originally ‘pitched’ the show.
The pilot show included many gems, but I decided to not have the exact same show as I planned in the summer of 2011. I also had a hard drive crash and lost all my original session files so I’ve had to re-do much of what I had already worked on.
However, these things happen! I am thankful for former PD Meg Lupton’s support, and I know I have it for new PD Gill Proudfoot, who loves classical music even more than I do. You may hear from her time to time on the show. I have offered her to be a co-host, but will be content with a “Gill’s pick” feature instead.
Playlists will be posted here as soon as I have had the shows.
OK, here is the first show that I’ve pre-planned – airing Tuesday, February 28 at 6 pm Eastern. (ckdj.net)
